Speaker Burrows Announces Committee Assignments

Shortly after the Texas House adjourned today, Speaker Dustin Burrows released the long-awaited committee assignments for the session. The appointments will shape the legislative priorities and influence key policy decisions in the coming months.

The following are the new chairs and vice chairs for all of the House’s permanent standing committees for the 89th legislative session.
