Think you could take down a bear in a fight? Apparently, 5% of Texans think they could win, according to a new survey.
The survey, conducted by Action Network asked hundreds of MMA fans which animal they could defeat in a fight. Surprisingly, 5.6% of respondents think they could defeat a bear. In fact, Texans believe defeating a bear would be easier than defeating an alligator or manatee, with 4.5% of respondents saying they could defeat those animals.
In general, Texans feel more confident in fighting small animals. 55% of respondents said they would beat a cat in a fight, and 32.8% could defeat a dog. However, Texans are not so sure with other small animals like possums or racoons, with about 25% of respondents saying they could beat those animals.
Overall, the most difficult animal to beat in a fight for Texans would be an Elk. Only 2.3% of respondents said they would beat an Elk in a fight. In addition, 19.2% of respondents said they would be unable to beat any of the animals in the survey in a fight. Here are the full results.
In addition, Action Network also asked respondents about what fight they would like to see the most. 21% of Texans agreed that the billionaire match between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg would be pretty fun to watch, followed by Trump vs Biden (17%) and Kendrick Lamar vs Drake (14%).
The information was based on the 177 Texans surveyed by Action Network.
