The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 class of inductees, recognizing individuals who have made notable contributions to Western heritage, FOX 4 reported. This year’s class includes Pete Carr, Russell deCordova, David Isham, Jim Jennings, and Joe Leathers.
Country music star Neal McCoy, known for hits such as “Wink” and “The Shake,” will receive the Hall of Fame’s Spirit of Texas Award during the annual celebration.
The ceremony, presented by The Norris Foundation and JJ & Bobby Norris, is set for Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Billy Bob’s Texas in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Events begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails, a silent auction, and a cowboy-inspired dinner, followed by the 7 p.m. induction ceremony.
The celebration doubles as a key fundraiser for the Hall of Fame. Money raised will go toward a planned 20,000-square-foot expansion of the museum, new educational offerings, and the restoration and return of the historic Hickman Wagon Collection. The expansion is intended to enhance the experience for the millions who visit the Stockyards each year.
Individual tickets are available for $200, or $2,000 for a table of eight, and can be purchased at tchof.com. The Courtyard Marriott Historic Fort Worth Stockyards will be hosting the event.
Organizations interested in sponsorships can reach Andrea Ruby at 817-614-7287.
McCoy, a Texas native, has long been celebrated for his energetic performances and commitment to U.S. troops, making the Spirit of Texas Award a fitting recognition of his impact.
