Texas Man Changes His Name To “Literally Anybody Else” To Run For US Presidency

A Texas man has legally changed his name to “Literally Anybody Else” and is ready to take on Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the presidential election

Formerly known as Dustin Ebey, Else is a U.S. Army veteran and a seventh-grade math teacher in the Dallas suburbs. He is 35 years old and really tired of both presidential candidates.

In an interview with WFAA, Else said that he wanted to change his name because he was dissatisfied with Trump and Biden, and so he decided to be a third option and run for office.

Else described himself as a centrist, born into a Christian family and attending a Christian university, but he is concerned about the housing affordability crisis and his biggest concern is the national debt.

He faces almost impossible odds, because in Texas an independent candidate needs 113,151 signatures of registered voters who did not vote in the presidential primary by May 13 to compete against the other presidential candidates. Else knows it’s going to be tough, but he’s encouraging people frustrated with both parties to write “Literally Anybody Else” on the ballot.

“We don’t have a ‘neither’ option on the ballot, and this kind of fills that role,” he said.

His website states: “Literally Anybody Else isn’t a person, it’s a rally cry.For too long have Americans been a victim of its political parties putting party loyalty over governance. Together let’s send the message to Washington and say, ‘You will represent or be replaced.’”

A few days ago, the Pew Research Center found that one in four Americans have an unfavorable view of both Biden and Trump.

Some of this dissatisfaction is due to the age of both candidates, as whoever wins the presidency will end his term as the oldest U.S. president in history.
