Texas Rangers And Guardians Set to Face Off In Cleveland, What Are the Odds?

The Texas Rangers (59-69) will begin a three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians (73-54) at Progressive Field, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET on Friday. This series marks a chance for both teams to gain momentum late in the season.

According to SportsbookWire, the Rangers have recently found some success, winning two out of three games against the Pittsburgh Pirates earlier this week. However, their overall performance has been inconsistent, with a 5-10 record in their last 15 games and a concerning 3-9 in their previous 12 road games.

Meanwhile, the Guardians are looking to bounce back after a tough 6-0 loss to the New York Yankees on Thursday. The team struggled offensively in their last two outings, being outscored 14-1.

Starting on the mound for the Rangers is right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (8-7, 3.76 ERA), who will be making his 23rd start of the season. Eovaldi’s road performance has been a bit shaky, with a 4.87 ERA over 44 1/3 innings. For the Guardians, Tanner Bibee (10-5, 3.33 ERA) will take the mound for his 25th start. Bibee has been reliable at home with a 3.99 ERA over 58 2/3 innings.

The Guardians are favored to win with a moneyline of -134 (bet $134 to win $100), while the Rangers are at +114 (bet $100 to win $114). The game is expected to be close, with a predicted score of Guardians 4, Rangers 3.
