Texas Rangers Bring The Heat To D.C., Biden Can’t Resist Their Style!

President Joe Biden welcomed the Texas Rangers baseball team to the White House on Thursday to celebrate their World Series victory, where he joked around the team’s members.

According to the Daily Mail, during the event, he made light-hearted remarks but stumbled slightly when complimenting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi, who arrived dressed in a sharp blue suit.

“Your standout pitcher Nathan, where are you Nathan?’ Biden asked. ‘And by the way, I want to know who the hell made his haberdasher. I like his dress man, I tell you. Looking good, Nathan.”

Biden, an avowed Philadelphia Phillies fan, couldn’t resist mentioning his loyalty.

“I want the record to show I’ve got a little bit of an ability to say nice things because I married a Philly girl,” he said. “Anyway, Philly fans are tough.”

Turning his attention to Rangers’ manager Bruce Bochy, Biden acknowledged Bochy’s impressive record of four World Series wins.

“I told him, he’s going to need another finger,” Biden said. “Or else he’s gotta put the fifth ring on his thumb. I don’t know how you do that man.”

Biden also noted the team’s historical ties to Washington, D.C., as the Rangers were originally the Washington Senators before relocating to Texas in the 1970s.

“As you know we’re 50 years since this franchise left Washington,” he said. “You’re back in the nation’s capital as world champions and you deserve it.”

After his speech, Biden was presented with a team jersey and cowboy boots by Bochy, to which he jokingly remarked “That’ll give me another two inches.”
