Governor Greg Abbott is scheduled to deliver his one hour long State of the State address Monday, February 1st at 7pm CT.
Gov. Abbot is expected to discuss the COVID pandemic response, public education, as well as declare his “emergency items,” or items that will receive a priority during the legislative session.
“The 87th Legislative Session is an opportunity for the Legislature and statewide leaders to solve the challenges facing our state on behalf of every Texan. Working together to serve the people of Texas, we will put the Lone Star State on a path towards a healthier, safer, freer, and more prosperous future for all,” Abbott said.
