Today at 3:00 PM at the Toyota Center, Donald Trump will make his first appearance in Houston since the storming of the U.S. Capitol earlier this year. The event is part of a Q&A tour held with Bill O’Reilly, where the former President intends to “talk about the real problems happening in the U.S., those that the Fake News Media never mention.”
The tour made two stops in Florida last week, where Trump spoke of a potential 2024 presidential run and made several unpleasant comments toward President Joe Biden. According to Florida media reports, the event experienced unexpectedly low ticket sales, and today’s event in Houston is projected to perform similarly. Ticket prices currently range from $100 to $300.
While Trump made frequent stops in Texas during his presidency, 56% of Harris County voters favored electing Biden during the 2020 election. Similar results have not been seen since the 1964 presidential election in favor of Democratic candidate Lyndon Baines Johnson.
