Pair Of Cheetahs Experience First Contact With Robot Dog

Researchers deployed a Unitree robot dog at the Sydney Zoo in hopes of observing how animals would respond.

The team sent Sparky the robot into an enclosure occupied by two cheetahs. The animals, though twice Sparky’s size, were extremely cautious.

The two animals were initially curious but avoided physical contact with Sparky, quickly deciding they wanted nothing to do with it.

Perhaps the animal kingdom knows best when trying to interact with A.I.?
