Beyoncé’s Houston Homecoming: Your Ultimate Guide To The Renaissance Weekend!

Beyoncé is coming to Houston next weekend, and to make sure you have all the info you need to plan your perfect Renaissance weekend, here is all you need to before the show, from the homecoming party through transportation.

First of all, you should know that there is a Homecoming Party at the Plaza that will be celebrated this Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., featuring a drone show dedicated to Beyoncé.

In addition, you should know that Harris County renamed itself in honor of Beyoncé. That’s right, Harris County decided to temporarily rename the county to “Bey County,” so be proud to be a citizen of the only county named after her Royal Highness.

Now, parking. NGR Park is completely cashless, and parking will cost you $40 plus tax, but prices may fluctuate. Also, METRO will offer $20 parking at the Fannin South Transit Center lot at 1604 West Bellfort Avenue but will only provide around 1,000 spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. This parking lot will open at 5 p.m.

Regarding transport, METRO will implement easier measures and prices to reach the NGR stadium. There will be a minimum of 30 special event “Beyhive” buses after the event that will travel the exact same route as the Red Line. The Red Line will run throughout the night until after the concert with a cost of $1.25.There are also a lot of things to do in the city, including a Saturday Renaissance pre-party, Boheme’s drag brunch Renaissance-themed and a Beyoncé-themed yoga class!
