Will Kyle Rittenhouse Attend Texas A&M? Sorry, Blinn College*

After being turned down by Texas A&M University, Wisconsin shooter Kyle Rittenhouse announces a slight change of plans.

On Monday, he took to Twitter and shared his plans to move to Texas at the end of the month so he can attend the junior college in Brenham and transfer to Texas A&M two years later.

However, just like Texas A&M, Blinn College came out to clarify.

Blinn Communications Director Richard Bray said Rittenhouse has applied but is not yet enrolled in any classes.

Last week, Rittenhouse sported a Texas A&M hat  and enthusiastically shared that he would be attending the College Station campus during an episode of  “The Charlie Kirk Show.”

“I’m going to be going there, and it’s going to be awesome,” said Rittenhouse, just a few days before Texas A&M University officials publicly clarified he had not gained acceptance to the school in College Station.

“Beautiful campus, amazing people, amazing food.”

Rittenhouse was acquitted of homicide in the killings of two unarmed men at the racial justice protest in 2020. He argued it was an act of self-defense. Previously a jury found him not guilty of five charges, including first-degree homicide. He was 17 years old at the time.

During his high-profile trial, Rittenhouse also lied about his education. He claimed he was taking online courses at Arizona State University.

Later, it turned out Rittenhouse never went through an admissions process and was not enrolled in the university, according to ASU officials.

“Unfortunately, the end of my high school career was robbed from me. I didn’t have the time other students get to properly prepare for the future,” he tweeted. “I look forward to attending Blinn College District this year.”
