The current Texas Land Commissioner, George P. Bush, recently appeared in the Brian Kilmeade Show to address losing his longed endorsement by twice-impeached Donald Trump.
During the interview, “the only Bush that likes Trump” highlighted the ongoing investigations to Attorney General Ken Paxton, mentioning that his long history of alleged bribery, corruption schemes, and abuse of power have deceived Texans multiple times.
In spite of Trump making a clear statement on endorsing Paxton over him, Bush insists that Paxton misled the former president.
“I continue to be a supporter of the president and of America First policy, and I’ll continue to fight for that as land commissioner and hopefully as attorney general. But the reality is here that Ken misled the president,” said George P. Bush.
The runner-up for Paxton’s seat added that the endorsement never came because they’re too busy, but that he was backed by many other officials and leaders, such as the National Border Patrol Council.
“I mean, they’ve got their hands full and they’ve entrusted me along with a lot of other law enforcement officials and leaders in our state,” Bush added.
Other endorsements include his friend Rodney Anderson -Chairman of the Dallas Republican Party- Ted Poe -former District Judge- and James Baker III, former White House Chief of Staff.
“It is going to take a PATRIOT like Ken Paxton to advance America First policies in order to Make America Great Again,” Trump said. “Ken has my Complete and Total Endorsement for another term as Attorney General of Texas. He is a true Texan who will keep Texas safe—and will never let you down!”
