Celebrating 4th of July in Texas, a List of Statewide Celebrations

 As 4th of July approaches and vaccination rates increase, Texans are ready to celebrate in an –almost back to normal- way. And even though things may seem better than before, it is still important to follow health measures when attending big events.

If you’re still looking for ways to celebrate, here’s a list of events across Texas:

Houston

Fort Worth

·     Fort Worth’s Fourth, July 4, 6 p.m., Panther Island Pavilion: Fort Worth’s Fourth will be an evening full of food, drinks and live music

·     Concerts In The Garden, July 4, 7 p.m. Dickies Arena: Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will host a socially distanced, Independence Day concert at Dickies Arena.

El Paso

·      The Town of Anthony will have a 4th of July parade

·      El Paso County Independence celebrations include food trucks, swimming, and an aerial display over the lake right after 9 p.m

·     Independence Day Outdoor Concert from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at Cleveland Square Park

·         Thanks to IDEA Horizon Vista and the Horizon Police Department fireworks are again returning to the High Desert. The event, set to start at 6 p.m

·         6th Annual Jalisco Cafe Segundo Barrio Books and Raspa Giveaway starting at  10 a.m. at 1029 East 7th Avenue

·         Independence Day celebration at Biggs Park with a performance by the El Paso Symphony Orchestra and fireworks show

Arlington

·         Arlington Fireworks Display, July 3, 9:30 p.m., Globe Life Field

·         4th of July Parade, July 5, 9 a.m., Downtown Arlington

·         Coca-Cola July 4th Fest, July 2-4, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Six Flags Over Texas: Enjoy a day at the park followed by fireworks
