Giga Bier. That is the name of Tesla’s newest project and it is set to arrive in Texas soon. Presented by its eccentric CEO, known for his fascinations with cars, space, meme cryptocurrency, and this time, an alcoholic beverage.
After it was announced earlier this month in one of his Giga-Factories in Grünheide, Germany by Tesla’s own CEO Elon Musk, some people thought it was a joke but Musk did give a sneak peek at the beer, which is housed in a futuristic bottle that no koozie will ever be able to grasp.
Tesla has already filed for registration the trademarks of “Giga Bier” and “Giga Beer” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, according to Texas Monthly’s Aaron Chamberlain.
The impending brew was mentioned as a footnote to everything else Tesla is doing these days, but it is certainly going to become an important project for the trillion-dollar company.
This isn’t Musk’s first foray into alcoholic beverages packed in awkward-shaped containers. Based on a prank Musk made on Twitter, Tesla introduced a tequila in a lightning bolt-shaped bottle in 2020. The $250 tequila is no longer available.
