In a propagandistic Venezuelan animated short film, Elon Musk is depicted as some sort of satanic cultist or demon being defeated by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who uses the “power of the Bible” to banish Musk to Mars.
The propaganda comes after the two men traded barbs online since Musk called the Venezuelan leader a “dictator” and a “clown,” while Maduro said X, the billionaire’s social media platform, was inciting hatred and civil war in Venezuela.
Maduro even challenged Musk to a fight and the billionaire accepted. However, Musk has a tradition of accepting fights and not following through.
It seems that the bizarre animated piece was a form of revenge and a form of propaganda for his government.
“I come against you, I come against Venezuela,” says the cartoon version of Musk. “Your wealth will be mine.”
In the animated short film, Musk is depicted smoking marijuana, with bags of money, horns in his head, and satanic symbols on his chair and clothes.
After he announces his plans in the short film, Maduro summons God with a Bible, and sends Musk to Mars.
“I’m hand in hand with God and our people,” Maduro says in the animated short film.
It’s worth noting that authoritarian regimes, such as Venezuela, often use Christianity, God, and the Bible to legitimize their government, and indoctrinate their people. Sound familiar?
