Hinojosa stated that Democrats are losing elections becauseThan “the main part of our base have just decided that voting is not a priority for their families. If we go out there and organize all of our communities, our latino communities, we will win.”

People responded that they wanted to see Beto O’Rourke, U.S. Rep. Colin Allred, and Houston Mayor John Whitmire. Some of the people we talked to were really fans of the Democrats, with one attendee saying he had a picture with Beto.
