Chau Nguyen

Chau Nguyen is a social worker, women’s advocate and storyteller. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Chau is a trauma therapist, counseling women, children and families in private practice and in non-profit. Chau has also spent nearly a decade advocating for women and girls as a nonprofit leader and executive, and is an appointee of the Houston Women’s Commission. Prior to her servant leadership, Chau worked as a television news journalist in Houston, Atlanta, Guam and Saipan. A refugee immigrant whose parents escaped the Vietnam War, Chau, her two young daughters and their dog Peanut proudly call Houston home.
