Megan Thee Stallion finally stepped back into the spotlight on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party. The rapper kept a low profile after her shooting in 2020, but now she’s back on social media.
On Sunday night, she wore a custom gown made by fellow Houstonian Bach Mai and styled by Law Roach, the stylist for Zendaya, Celine Dion and Kerry Washington.
The strapless black gown perfectly captured her fierce and confident personality, while the bodice featured an intricate lace bustier insert that added a touch of sensuality to the overall look. The iridescent finish of the fabric made Megan look like a true star of the night. The finishing touch to this show-stopping look was a stunning Gismondi 1754 diamond choker necklace, paired with chandelier earrings and a ring that sparkled in the flashing lights of the paparazzi.
In an Instagram post, she wore her stunning dress and her fans commented how they missed her.
The stunning gown was the brainchild of Mai, who is enjoying a successful career. He recalled having his 13th birthday party at Neiman Marcus at the Galleria, and now some of the dresses there are his. After graduating from St. John’s, he studied at the Parsons School of New York and was promptly nominated for Womenswear Designer of the Year.
