Six Arrested in Connection to Damage to State Capitol

The Texas Department of Public Safety has made six arrests for crimes — ranging from felony criminal mischief to riot —  committed during the protests that damaged property and injured DPS officers at the Texas State Capitol on May 30 and 31. 

Those facing charges include Syed Imran Ali, 24, of Spring, Cassidy Julia Nordstrom, 26, of Austin, Gabriel Brett Krug, 22, of Temple, Bryan Becerril, 17, of Pflugerville, Nickia Kasha Hunt, 25, of Austin and Jordan Chance Teal, 18, of Austin.

Texas Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of individuals charged with a felony, or up to $500 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of any individual charged with a misdemeanor in connection with the protests at the capitol.
