Is Texas turning into Sin City ?
According to WalletHub, it is.
The website ranked each state’s alleged anger, hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness. And guess what ? Texas ranked third in the U.S. for “sinfulness.”
Are you surprised though ?
Texas garnered first place in the lust category, which was determined by calculating the state’s teen birth rate – one of the highest probably due to Republicans feeling they are entitled to an opinion about women’s bodies with a restrictive abortion law that ultimately controls them.
Wallethub also took into consideration the state’s Google search interest for “XXX Entertainment,” the average time spent on adult entertainment websites and the number of people per capita who were arrested for prostitution and commercialized vice.
Texas also ranked sixth in vanity, which took into consideration how many beauty salons there are per capita, cost per household on personal care products and Google searches for the plastic surgery procedures.
California ranked at No. 2 and And at the top of the podium was Nevada for greed, jealousy and for being in the top 10 for six of seven categories.
I guess this is the only exception where Republicans will be happy California eclipsed us.
